Anderton Nature Park. This was once an industrial wastland, now a wildlfe haven, there is a wildlife trail and many wild flowers flourish on the lime waste that was deposited here long ago.
The Weaver Navigation. It is 20 miles long from the Manchester Ship Canal to Winsford Bottom Flash. The navigation opened in 1732
