INLAND NAVIGATION PHOTOGRAPHY
SITE COMPILED BY BILL CHAMBERS

A waterway enthusiast and photographer, who has extensively travelled the waterways for many years, travelling thousands of miles and exposing hundreds of rolls of film.
Over time, a great library of images has accumulated and it is the intention of this site to bring to you the latest images of the waterways as they are today.
I have also covered many extinct waterways, although it's not safe to call them this nowadays, witness the reopening of the Huddersfield Narrow canal, a close watch is kept on the restoration programs and appropriate photographs taken to keep the library up to date.
You will find in the directory listings an extensive range of waterways covered with areas of interest not only on the waterways but close-by, within walking distance of the canal.
The library contains a comprehensive collection of photos of tourist interest on and off the navigations.
Many pubs have been visited during the travels and their signs have been recorded, as have many more when it was realised that this subject had extensive interest to the real ale buffs on the canals.
All of the canal engineers are covered both by their waterways and other items of interest.
